STAYING FIT MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY @ Urban Ashram Manila

Day 1: April 30, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Brixton: FNR: Lasse Holopainen

After work I hurriedly went to Urban Ashram Brixton. Their place was so  beautiful! The staff/teachers were nice and pleasant looking! I changed to my yoga clothes and since it's my first formal yoga ever, I talked to a girl, who happened to be a teacher! She's Lexi, a Vinyasa Flow teacher. She's very kind, she gave me advised to keep me from feeling nervous. hehe. She said in during her first time, she's thinking if she's doing the right pose. Just enjoy! Teachers are there to help you!
I didn't notice that the 6.30 PM FNR class already started! I speedily went to a room, and then there they was! By now warming up. We must be around 15-20 during that time. The teacher is a guy, he's good looking and warm.  (HAHAHA) The whole routine was great! Some of those are easy to me while others are kind of difficult. He moved me to another mat since I originally placed on the far area. I'm now on the first row. HAHAH. I'm conscious cause everyone else can see me :| but then it's better now cause I can see clearer the poses done by the teacher. He joked us to smile hahha. I'm actually smiling for myself, cause I feel I'm doing the wrong way o weird poses!! While watching the teacher to do some pose, I smiled at him and I saw his eyes surprised! And he smiled back and said (somewhat like this) "It's nice to see someone smiling".  There's a pose wherein we need to touch our buttocks and slowly down those hands up to the feet and arch our back, it's kind of hurt my back but I did it! He's a great teacher!
I sweat a lot! It's a nice and a good feeling! We cool down after the series of poses and he close the light for us to relax. I must say that I want to fall asleep. AHHAHAH. Then after couple of minutes we sit down and place our hands near our chest (I always look to people around me so I'll know what to do) :D
We do "AHMMMMM", maybe 3x hahah. I just opened my mouth just to say that I said a word :P but on the last time, I said "AHMMMMM".  He thanks us and said "NAMASTE" (Thank you!)
I didn't get the chance to talk to anyone from the class, I was kind of shy, their all speaking English! HAHHA. Is it the first language here?? :) So I talked to the helper, the one who cleans the studio, she's Aileen, she's very makwento! I like here! I learned so many things from here... The teacher earlier was happen to be the director/owner of the yoga. He's Lasse Holopainen. I must say that I'm lucky cause my first ever yoga was taught by a true Yoga GURU! :) He's always smiling to everyone he sees, that's why.
I want to join the next class but it already started heheh, I'm felt I was embarrassed, oh well I just analyzed that there are classes that overlap. I need to choose which of those to join.
For my initial impression? Impressive! I'm happy I bought this deal to Deal Grocer! :)

Day 2: May 1, 4.30 PM - 6:00 PM
High Street: Hatha: Glady Rosales

This day is Holiday! Labor's Day! I initially decided to  join morning class, cause I want to see teacher Lasse and try Vinyasa but then I rethink again, cause I want to watch Showtime hehe. So I went to High Street in the afternoon.
This branch is in very cosy place. I walked from Market! Market! to High Street near Toyota Cars. I saw Lexi again and she encouraged me to try her juices. It's healthy and yummy. I was going to buy but it's kind of expensive, it costs Php200, so I didn't buy. I'll make my own. :D
I arrived early so I had plenty time to relax, I chat with Aileen. I explore the area, its' really classy and the interiors was fantastic! Amenities and facilities are cool and clean. Every practitioner will feel comfy and relax.
As I went to the West studio, (I noticed in HS branch, the studio are named as directions whereas in Brixton branch its numbers) I relax and after a minute I went to the door and then there was a small woman whose about to close the door, but it seems that she doesn't know how to so I helped her, without knowing that it was the teacher! HAHAH. I want to pee so I exit again haha, so I ran fast and then they are starting to chit - chat.
So we warmed up, used belt and  block to help us out to our poses. Bunch of sweat are dripping all over my body.  Hatha yoga was slow and has challenging pose. A pose where we need to lift our body and arms facing the front while the one feet is lifted and the other is on the floor. Balancing is very challenging!  I'm happy I managed to follow all those, beside me was Lexi and I always watch her cause I know she's a pro! Different people come to this session, all women and not the typical fit girls, there are classes I encountered men, there's variation that's why it's excellent! :) Yoga is for everyone!

Day 2: May 1, 6.30 PM - 8:00 PM
High Street: FNR: Marc Macadaeg

I want to make my time in HS memorable and challenging, I went to next yoga class. It's FNR by teacher Marc, I thought he's the foreigner I saw in the net but he's not. He's cute :D. We're jam pack, there's a foreigner and a guy. Teacher Glady was also there. (I learned that teachers/staff has the privilege to go to any class).
He warmed up us while sitting straight, shoulder out and belt on our ribs. FNR for him is basic but for us, it's challenging! He pushes us to the limit! I heard a lady on my side, saying "I can't" but the teacher said, somewhat like this "that's why you need to practice" :) I like him as a teacher, I will learn so many  right poses to him. I think almost all of us corrected in our poses, except maybe Ms. Glady :) The girl on my right was often corrected by Marc, she even trembles, and the teacher said something, I guess in my understanding he's saying that trembling is good in body. I push myself to do great cause I don't want him to push me, I want to learn on my own but he sees me and corrected me. The Warrior 2, planks, downward facing dog and other's made me sweaty. We did upward plank pose.
Like the previous class, I'm sweat galore! and  I love that! I remember Andy (I thought there where permanent receptionist in this yoga but I was wrong) she's also a teacher! :) She's cute and accommodating.  Said that "he's strict" pertaining to Marc. Well, he is! :) but I take it in a good way. Now, I'm looking forward to classes that he's a teacher in it.

Day 3: May 2, 6.30 PM - 8:00 PM
Brixton: Restorative: Glady Rosales

I went to Restorative yoga to relax my muscle, I've been having sore muscle, that's a good sign, it means that my body is now alert :D I'm late by 10 min. but the staff said that I can still join. As I opened the studio, the room was in dim light and there's candle, the practitioner were trying to arrange a bolster and a towel, I hurriedly imitate what they're doing. And then we lie down. We stretch on our back, neck, back tight, feet, hands.. Oh so relaxing but there's something moving around my neck, I stop and think what was that? OMG! a parasite!  maybe because of a towel. Thank God I had a small towel, I put it in may head to avoid the parasite from coming near.
The whole class was relax, I like the music, I keep imagining my crush and I are on a beautiful and serene place, on a boat, a grass eating....smile are on my face, I can feel it! The poses really keep me calm except the parasite thing. This class didn't sweat me :D At home, I did some of the pose and as I woke up the other day, the pillows were still the last time I positioned it! So relaxing.

Day 4: May 3, 7.30 PM - 8:45 PM
High Street: FNR: Martin Ngo

Martin Ngo is a doctor! I searched the net to know most of them and put a face on their names. I arrived early so I relax myself. We warmed up, there's women around 40's - 50's, and man, their flexible, in downward facing dog, their heel can touch the floor! I must say, he's also strict! He noticed that there's a lot of newbie, I learned Sun Salutation A and B thru him. :D He also uses block to teach beginners on right posing of Warrior 1 on the wall. There's a pose that it's very hard to do! 2 blocks in front of us and while in a plank, slowly down our shoulder on those blocks.
We had partners to do some pose, and partnered to me was one of the auntie's (age hehe), the pose need to be one foot on the flr and the other is lifted sideways, while one hand is on the air and the other is on the block. The hours moved fast, he's planning to teach some more but not enough time. AW! I want to learn more! :) He also corrected us in our poses.

Day 5: May 4, 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Brixton: FNR: Shailoe Peredo

Saturday morning! I arrived 15 min earlier, we're a lot, around 20, some were familiar to me, mom and daughter, businesswomen, teens and a grandpa? Cool!
Teacher is Shailoe, she replaces Tanya. She's beautiful and I like her brown eyes. She's very thoughtful and not so strict teacher :D
We learned a pose for abs and do the usual poses. While relaxing on the last part, our eyes were close, she put some ointment on our forehead. It's a cooling feeling :D I think she's sweet, more than the teaching, she's concern to her students :)

Day 5: May 4, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Brixton: Vinyasa: Shailoe Peredo

It's my first time to Vinyasa so I want to chose a subtle and slight strict instructor. It's teacher Shailoe again, before warm up, she asked who are first time in Vinyasa, I raised hand. I chose a mat in the middle area so I can see pro yoga and mimic them! :) There were whose very flexible, I admired them. I really sweat a lot, I like the challenging poses. The teacher also do pose in the middle vacant mat right beside me and it's useful to me. I think she's giving me enough attention cause it's my first. Isn't that nice? :)
There's this pose that I want to try and try though it's hard to balance specially if your already tired. You need to do Warrior 1 then put your right hand on the block and raise the left hand, after that put your hands to your chest slowly, like your praying and bent your upper body to left and lift the other foot lifted, leaving the only foot on the floor.
Upon cooling down, complex pose was also there, put a V in our legs as wider as possible. She gives us an option if we can do it, but if  not, remain on the most comfortable position for you. She also put this ointment and ask the other who didn't get the chance to put on, she also open the fan for her students. She's really concerned, not that hard to student but she corrected us every time where not in the right pose. I must say Vinyasa is easy if you keep practicing FNR, everyone can make those poses! :)

Day 6: May 5, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Brixton: Vinyasa: Marc Macadaeg

I didn't expect a lot of practitioner, according to Aileen, Sunday usually was mostly regular student do yoga. Or I must say it's because, it's Marc whose going to teach? I learned that he came from LA or something state in US, studied and now he's back, people misses him! :) Maybe we're about 30 in that room. No electric fan, that's the direct of teacher Marc, so that students will sweat a LOT! :) Well I agree with that.
As the same, he instruct us to put the strap on our ribs, he explains a lot, but some of those I didn't understand :D He want to let us know the importance of breathing in ribs thru different poses. He's so strict! I super love it! We're really sweating a lot, I always slipped on my mat, I know now the importance of towel mat, to keep you established. I'm planning to buy but it's expensive, 800 for simple but 1700 for quality product. Maybe I'll just bring my own towel :D
There's the usual pose but he pushes us to down more, especially in Warrior, planking was easy but it's the ngalay your best enemy! I did child pose often cause of the sweat on my face and hands that makes it slide on the mat. After several and fast poses he now allowed us to do child pose, and the woman beside me said "Thank you" in a sarcastic tone. :) Maybe she's just joking. HAHAHA and then Marc said "Well, get used to it", I just smiled.
We made poses on the wall, we need to lift our upper body while the left leg is in 90 degree and right leg is pressing on the wall and hands are parallel to body. It's easy, he went to my area and touch my thigh and I did it! OMG! :D Then the head stand! I searched for a vacant place where there no window, then a woman called me by hand, I smiled, I moved there. I have to say she's very flexible and so thin! She can do it on her own. To do the head stand, I watched other student and Marc said "don't watched the other they might feel uncomfortable, just do the child pose if you can't do the pose" and he's right. I push myself to do the other pose, do the plank and move the feet to the wall and slowly climb the feet on the wall until your body and legs is both parallel.
A women on my  right side called Marc to asked help and I did again the pose and he pointed me saying "just like her pose, it's right "to a women who asked :) I'm happy!  And while maintaining that pose, a woman on my left corrected me and I followed her and I felt tired so I put down my legs and smiled to her and she said "it's OK, that's a good try!". Later after the class I just learned thru Aileen again :D (were very chummy) that the nice woman is the wife of the owner, Lasse, she's Maricar! And to think she gave birth to 3 children! It's unbelievable! She's very thin. Well, a yoga a day burn the fat away!:)  The mom of Marc was also there, I saw her, she's maybe 60's and to that age she can make yoga poses just like a teen age! WOW! Yoga keeps you live longer and happier! ;) I wanted to try more poses but the time is not enough, Marc is really a excellent teacher!

Day 7: May 6, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Brixton: Vinyasa Flow: Nica Hechanova

We're around 10 maybe for that class, our teacher is Nica, she's very thin and very flexible, tone muscles are very visible. I noticed that in Vinyasa, warming up is in seated position, back straight while FNR is in lie down.
I think some were beginners, Nica talks fast :) cause it's Vinyasa! The new pose for me was do the chair pose then put the hands as if praying and slightly look on the other side, shoulder open as if in cobra pose. And a pose for abdomen, it's really hurt our abdomen, but it's for our abs! :) She corrected us as always, stepping our heel to stick it in the front feet on the mat.

Day 8: May 7, 5:45 PM - 6:15 PM
Brixton: Pranayama Flow: Lasse Holopainen

This class is about breathing. We used the towel to put on our cross feet and sit on the bolster, and sit straight and both hands on top of thigh straight with index finger touching the thumb. We do different breathing exercises for upper body parts, inhale in lower stomach, diaphragm/ abdomen to lower ribs to 4 count and hold and slowly exhale up to 6 count, it's very relaxing, I want to sleep :) Then we lie down and use the bolster crosswise and the towel lengthwise, making our chest open. He says a lot, he's voice is the same as Ariel Rivera. He even showed his stomach to demonstrate the consecutive breathing on stomach for 20 counts. He's very lean, I think majority of yoga guru are like that.

Day 8: May 7, 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM
Brixton: FNR Flow: Lasse Holoipanen

Jam-packed! Maricar was also there, a lot of men, women and a foreigner, any age, name it! Lasse is a great  and charming and witty teacher! He jokes sometimes, he corrected us in our pose, me, on the last part, in aligning my instep straight. I thought I won't be corrected on a class but it's not HAHA
The poses is the same, new for me is during warrior 1 and bend and put our one hand on the back of the butt and the other on the block and slowly turn to right side, shoulder open. Some where I think newbie, they reacting when they're tired and Lasse said "it's just in your mind, you can make it, no one ever got hurt just by bending the knee, not until now" HAHAH he's joking again! And then Maricar gave a small paper to Lasse, and they both smiling, Oh, they so kakakilig! The romance is still kicking!
There's this pose called dolphin pose, same as plank but the legs as cross. Also a pose somewhat hard, like warrior 1 leg posing, but slowly slant the other leg and hands with your arm slant on the mat.  After tough poses and sweating galore, we warmed up and there's a pose that while lie down, our legs are in 90 degree and slowly, go 45 then 35 then 20 then inhale again to 90 then repeat. AHHAHA We did it in 3 repetition and others still go to 90 degree, Lasse said "that's a common mistake, you want more? I can give you more!"   HAHA, then everyone's smiling :D

Day 9: May 8, 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM
Brixton: Vinyasa Flow: Marc Macadaeg

It's black out in most NCR area, is it for the practice for the election day itself?
I arrived 20 min earlier, I easily saw Marc on the reception/ sofa area talking like a girl :) I chose an area near to a person I think is a pro, but then I've learned that she's a newbie. I saw Shailoe and a pretty girl beside her, she's really pretty as in, nice height and fair skin. I've found out thru Aileen (again! HAHAH my fave staff) that Shailoe and the pretty girl is an item. Aw! They're both pretty! They should spread good genes! :D
Back to yoga, as always, we put the strap on the mid level of our ribs. We did most of the same poses, last time, the pose into square, the knees are in 3/4 of the block, then raise the right arm straight on the wall and raise left leg straight on the floor, right foot raise not touching the mat. OMG, I can do it now, unlike the last time we did the pose. It's bring sweat on my mat, we did 5 counts. To add up harder pose, the  left leg put in the side fold  and the arm raised put in the L angle. Oh that's so hard to balance, but we did it! I looked at him, thinking he's a lawyer? Incredible!
Upward facing dog and down ward seems an easy thing to me, but Marc, said something to me, at first I did not understand him, (I faced him with my face dripping on sweat!) and second time he said something like this " if you can't make the pose before upward, from plank just do the downward, cause it may stress you body" so I followed him, every time we did that, I just do downward, then I saw everyone was not doing the same as mine, but it's fine, Marc was always on near area and he doesn't correct me, so it's fine.

Day 10: May 9, 8:30 PM - 9:45 PM
Brixton: FNR: Martin Ngo

I  went to morning class cause I know I have a meeting this evening, but I lost track of days! OMG. so G-R-R, its yesterday's meeting I failed to attend! Oh well, I'll just go to mall later.
I arrived 8.30-ish, I asked Andi what's the next class and she said "8.30 FNR", OMG! another mistake, thank God cause I arrived just in time! Based on my printed schedule it's 9AM. I'm already in my sports attire, so I hurriedly went to the studio, Martin was about to close the door but I hold the door and chose a mat.
I noticed that he's not the soft teacher, when he correct a student, he's somewhat irate and touch their body without tender. It was FNR but the poses was kind of hard similar to Vinyasa. We need to do a pose with our arm on the floor and feet curl up. Just as plank but the arms up to elbow are on mat. It's OK but the next level was hard! It's not OK in the middle back near your upper butt?! In that pose, we need to slant our feet in left area and not dropping our leg on mat. That's not enough, we need to do warrior 1 on side body, the arm and elbow was on the mat. I observed that I'm more comfortable in left area down.
We also did the pose he taught days ago, using 2 blocks we do planks and slowly down the knee and put our weight on the arms and shoulder and down to blocks, and then straighten the leg and feet curl up. I did it! :) A dolphin plank pose and added much harder is by slowly twisting on the other side. It's easy if you put the other leg on the mat, 90 degree while the other leg is side straight  on the mat.  A pose on the wall, feet facing side, hips is square, and slowly bend and reach the block, both leg straight and other arm is slowly raise, opening the chest. It's easy for me, my arms are really used to it! I like it! It makes me stronger and a build muscles on arms! :) He's keep saying "Good, good job!" I hope he's pertaining to me.
Unlike other teacher on cooling down, we only did the pose while sit down, straight leg facing wall and arms raise straight, slowly reach the instep of the feet and chest is out. And corpse pose. He said a Namaste and speedily went out. He maybe need to go to other things, I believe he's a doctor. He's strict also like Marc maybe because they're both license professionals.

Day 11: May 10, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Brixton: FNR: Martin Ngo

It's rainy and thunder was really soaring. I came first, I already saw Martin, I asked Vangie (another staff) and I said "if I'm only the one student, would the class still proceed?" ,"yes", haha so I'm kind of worried and happy cause it may be one on one :) but then again, 5minutes before the class, people were rushing to join. We're maybe 10, Martin taught the same, we use 2 blocks to do Chaturanga Dandasana, he also allowed us to do half chaturanga, then straighten our legs and elbow 90 degrees after laying our shoulders on the blocks.
He's kind of in a rush in teaching us, I didn't sweat a lot cause it's rainy and pose was easy for me. We did, Sun Salutation A and B, baby cobra, warrior 1 and 2. A new pose in warming up where our left leg is 90 degree and other leg is above the left leg pointing the wall and 2 hands were on the back of left thigh pulling it onward on our chest.

Day 12: May 11, 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Brixton: FNR: Yanti Marduli

I really liked this teacher, she's very friendly and her voices is clear. I'm late so I chose a mat in front of Yanti, she asked who's are new on yoga, injury and new to her class, I raised hand and she smiled at me. :)
I learned so many poses from her, she's a ballet, you can see it in her body, she's petite and toned, not to mentioned, very flexible! We did lying on our back slowly but not lying our heads and stand our upper body again by just using the stomach, it's very hard! I can't stand it by not holding my thigh. We also did a pose, where we used a strap to put in our leg straight facing ceiling and other leg is straight on mat, slowly down the leg with a strap without the other leg going up. And we made a pose, our both legs raised in inverted V, wider as you can while lying on the mat.
We did half lunge, warrior 1, utkatasana o chair pose and others. I noticed that  Sun Salutation A varies in raising the hands, either from sideway or straightway.  Chair pose and a twisting in back while our hands are in our chest, like praying, we did that.
Yanti always says "Excellent" and encourages everyone to ask her even if it's not about yoga :) such a  sweet and funny girl. I really like her accent and her wit.

Day 12: May 11, 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Brixton: Vinyasa Flow 2/3: Yanti Marduli
I still didn't know what's the difference of Vinyasa 2/3 and Vinyasa 1/2 to regular Vinyasa?
Yanti notices that I joined her class again, she said "You're going? Wow! that's great! Back to back!" and I just smiled :P
She showed us her strong and flexbility prowess by doing the pose which the other man said "that's impossible" and Yanti said something like "there's nothing impossible if you do it again and again" and a man said "practice!" She did the pose just with saying "I'll teach you something interesting and fun".  She also keep saying that if we can't do the chaturanga, we can proceed to downward facing dog.
Some poses were similar, she always make us alive by doing some funny faces, she's very cute! Mandy, a manager in Urban also joined the class, Wow! Yanti was great she did Eight-Angle pose! awesome!

Day 13: May 12, 10:00 AM - 11.30 AM
Brixton: FNR: Marc Macaraeg

Teacher Marc had a FNR Foundation last saturday and I wasn't able to join caused it's for only regular members. We'll I think this class he did taught some of those! :)
We used the strap and do the usual pose, Maricar was also there, were around 20-30. We did pose on the wall by using block and lifting our right leg and balance, do some twist and facing the wall with our upper body and other arm touching the wall. If your flexible, you can straighten your leg and touch the foot by the hand without falling backward and you back is straight. I tried that and Marc touched my back aligning it, as long as a minute. I saw Maricar and she didn't do it, so I mimic her :)
Some teachers, keep saying that it's our own practice, there's no competition. But everytime you see someone can do some poses, you challenged yourself that you can also do it. Nonetheless, follow what the teachers advice!
He also went to me and said "stay in plank", during sun salutation, he did that to me earlier days ago. I find it hard to do the right chaturanga, so sometimes I bent my knee and did half chaturanga and at times, just did the downward facing dog.
He had an assistant, he's cute! He's JC, I wonder why Marc had an assistant? Maybe because JC is a trainee teacher :) We really sweat a lot, even the assistant without sacrificing some effort.
It's a Mother's day! And I'm about to go to the door when JC said "We had a mother's Day gift" and I thought "Is that for me or for my mother?" I want to said are trying to say I'm already had a child?! HAHAH. But I thought the gift was sayang so I went back. He said "Just sigh up here" hahhaha I saw that there's only 8 people who signed. I just secretly smiled, I forgot to greet Aileen.

Day 14: May 13, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Brixton: Hatha: Yanti Marduli

It's Election Day! I chose the afternoon class, I'm still sleepy and I prefer Yanti over Martin, though my initial plan was to went on 10 AM class and 2 PM but the gap in between those classes was long.
Regular member's can bring as many family and friends as they want in this day! Buti pa sila!
We're jam-packed! I chose a mat near on the left wall and on the divider wall, there's a lot of beginners. Hatha is somewhat easy compared to Vinyasa. We did the same pose as she already taught to.  We did side bending poses while seated, twisting and triangle poses.
We did the pose where in we need to raise our left leg and hold it using our left hand and right hand on the waist, then put the right hand on the left knee and slowly twist the upper body on different direction and slowly lift the hand on the direction where the body faces. It's about the balance!
We did the warm up by doing some breathing exercises, while on a cross leg sit, we did the Y pose in our hand, we inhale thru our left nostril while pressing our right nostril and exhaling thru right nostril while pressing the left nose and vice versa. It's very relaxing and enjoying! Warrior 1 with a little harder, we bend as much lower the leg, and put the arms in chest and gently twist on the other side. We did pigeon pose, chair pose and a lot more!
We also did core strengthening poses, by moving up our legs and our upper body is straight 45 degree from the mat. It's for the abs!

Day 14: May 13, 4.30 PM - 6.00 PM
Brixton: Vinyasa: Yanti Marduli

Customer's were only 15, I ate granola and banana to power me up! Yanti notices me while she's going in and said "You again? Wow! that's great!" and I just smiled :D
We did again the warm up, and used the belt to stretch our legs and thigh. Placed the connected strap on the feet and on the waist and tighten the strap just enough  and lie down on the mat and our feet almost touching the butt. I was kind of in uncomfortable so I loosen up a bit and we did some twist after those  pose.
We did high and low lunge, eagle pose with variation where the left leg is parallel to the back and both arms are twisted in each other, and right leg on the mat, focus and balance is very important. We also did One legged king Pigeon Pose II, it's like warrior 1 but bending the other leg and hold it from the back.
Happy baby pose is cute! I didn't sweat a lot cause it's rainy, this past few days, rainy is uncontrollable, climate change is really alarming.  What I learned from Yanti was that YOGA is a JOURNEY! :)

Day 15: May 14, 6.30 PM - 7:45 PM
Brixton: FNR : Lasse Holoipanen

Last day of my 15-day Unlimited yoga..  I'm sad cause I love yoga! I like Urban Ashram! :)
Anyways, I can still practice in my own. As I enter the class, Lasse was already talking, it's about the importance and benefits of practicing yoga.
Some of the routine poses were the same, there' a lot of beginner's, I just can't help but smile. I see myself to them but I'm more eager and a better listener to teacher. I can see Lasse smiling whenever they can't do the right poses, the it's very understanding. When the class finished I heard the these friends saying "o ano, quit na?" hehe I just smiled secretly, they don't need to quit, just go everyday to class and you'll get used to it. It's a nice treat to your body to really flushed out the toxins and relax :)
There's this pose that kind of hard to balance, once in warrior 2, slowly bend to reach the block and slightly lift your other leg to form a pose with just one leg on the mat, the other armwas raised on the ceiling.  Lasse said "most of you are shaking, let's try the other side" HAHAH I can able to do the pose but not perfect! :D
We did easy poses. Did savashana and Namaste to our great teacher Lasse! I'll treasure every moment and class I experienced. Thanks to all from cleaning staff to teachers to owners! I really learned a lot! More powers to Urban Ashram Manila! Namaste! ;)
